Locked down or content with the current climate in a grey prison
Tapped phone calls and texts being trapped in a prism
A current reflection is that of a man confused and seeking high ground
Child of an immigrant lost at sea and being far from found
Walk with me down this form of memory lane
Young,wild, and free singing in microphones hoping for lights and fame.
Told we could be whoever we want to be
What if all I want now is to be happy and free
I stand as a man not yet broken but far from complete
The fight far from over, rising from the ground far from defeat.
