Veterans Fresh Sounds: New Britney,Avril,Kanye, & Jay-Z

Is It 2004 all over again. 2011 has brought some brand new single from decades old artists into the forefront with their new styles ( or rips of underground styles) with them.

Britney Spears' new #1 single,Hold It Against Me, is sure to light up the club scene this weekend and it was just released. Sultry vocals with sexed up lyrics with a catchy beat. Oh Britney. Things never change.

Next up is Avril Lavigne. Yeah, the Sk8er Boi songstress is still making music after years just touring and lighting up celebrity blogs. What The Hell is still the same ol' Avril. The repetitive nature of simple lyrics mixed with a Canadian accent never gets old or annoying (to teeny boppers).

Mr. West dropped the critically acclaimed album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, just a couple months back and is already getting back to his hip hop roots with the Lex Luger produced track. The new album, Watch The Throne, is a collabo with the hip hop heavyweight Jay-Z. So you know Jay-Z drops it Hard As A Motherfucker on this track as well.
